Our top five wedding venues in the United States! Jay and I spent 2018 traveling to every single one of our weddings. We have always been fairly destination oriented but since we moved to Denver at the end of 2017, we were traveling every weekend! So, we thought it would be fun to look back and put together a list of our favorite venues. Here it is!

Number 1: Inn at Mountain View Farm, Vermont
Ever since shooting Emily & Justin’s wedding back in 2017, the Inn at Mountain View has held a special place in our hearts. It’s located in the cutest little town of East Burke, Vermont where you’ll always find groups of bikers enjoying the scenery and of COURSE the very best maple syrup.
The wedding venue is on a farm for rescue animals, be still my heart. The reception barn is an old horse stable which makes for a super intimate and unique atmosphere. The ceremony is held on top of a hill and the guests are transported there in a wagon pulled by horses. Makes for quite the entrance!
There’s even a yoga barn if you’re needing a little extra anxiety relief before the big day. That was one of the coolest wedding preps we’ve filmed all year. Thanks, Abbey & Evan!
Not enough good things to say about this place. We LOVE it!!!!!
Number 2: Cheekwood Estate & Gardens, Nashville
We filmed a love story at Cheekwood that ended up being one of my absolute favorite engagement films of all time! Alaina and Jonathon even played it at their ceremony right before she came down the aisle. OMG – the DRAMA! It was amazing.
Then, this November we filmed Leslie & Rob’s wedding there. You may have seen it in People Magazine – no big deal! Doug the Pug was the best man and Jonathan Van Ness, the officiant? No? Ok – here you go: epic Cheekwood Gardens Wedding.
The locations for filming are ENDLESS and it’s just beautiful everywhere.
Number 3: Capitale, New York City
As if winter in New York City isn’t magical enough, give us the most epic wedding venue like Capitale and we are in HEAVEN. Located on Bowery street, Capitale has everything we could want in a venue – including spot lighting during speeches! HALLELUJAH.
Claire & James were a dream to work with and their intro to their wedding video is one of my favorites we did all year! Closely tied with Leslie & Rob’s.
Number 4: Company 251, Chicago
Holy moly. When I dream of interior design, I see Chicago’s glorious wedding venue that is, Company 251. As soon as we walked in, the ideas started flowing. A glass back elevator with the floor numbers pained on the brick wall behind it?! UM PLZ YES.
Then, our groom gives the most heartfelt vows to his step daughter EVER. Goodness gracious – we love that place.
Number 5: Cielo Farms, Malibu
Last but not least, the most gorgeous wedding venue in Malibu canyon, Cielo Farms! Located on top of a mountain, within a winery boasting ocean views, is the one and only Cielo Farms. Good Lord is it just spectacularly beautiful.
Lauren & Justin had the coolest, hippest, trendiest, wedding of my dreams. We can’t wait to be back this September!
And those are our favorites of 2018! We can’t wait to see where 2019 brings us.
