I was one of the overabundance of brides who wasn't planning to have and didn't budget for a videographer for our wedding. I believe fate is the only thing that landed KLassey in my lap, because the day after our wedding, I was like, "what EVEN happened yesterday?" It's one of those things brides don't openly share with you. You don't really remember the day. "It was a whirlwind" or "it flies by" is code for "did that just happen?" HIRE A VIDEOGRAPHER is one of only 3 pieces of bridal advice I now offer. Un-budgeted, over-budget, it doesn't matter. Worth every last penny.
Kaila and Jay actually traveled to Tampa from Nashville to record our love story intro and for our wedding (TWICE). I didn't even know they weren't local when I hired them! I fell completely smitten with these two as people for so many reasons: Their calming demeanor while we were being filmed, their sense of humor, their vision coming to life in the middle of the process, their love for our furbabies. On the wedding day, I seriously barely noticed they were there, and they captured it so beautifully. To top it off, Kaila gets so excited about the videos that she stays up late putting together the teaser in the days after the wedding. I think she texted it to me at like 2AM when she finished. :) I have friends who waited 3 months just for the teaser. We just received our video, and we laughed and cried so hard EVERY SINGLE ONE of the THREE times we watched it over the last 3 days. It's amazing. It's perfect. It's timeless. It's everything.
KLassey is not your Uncle Roger with a video camera. They are legitimate cinematographers with the rawest talent and the most absurdly impressive vision. If you are fortunate enough to partner with these two, you will be so relieved you did, and you will have your real life fairy tale in the form of a video for the rest of your life.
